There are links on this site which lead to the Profiling for Success (PfS) online assessment system which is located at our site at www.profilingforsuccess.com.
If you purchase one of the PfS assessments and then go on to take the test or questionnaire, you will be asked to submit your personal details (name, sex, age, email address) and also of course you will submit the responses to whichever test or questionnaire you are about to take.
The purpose of collecting and processing your name and email address is to provide you with the results of the test or questionnaire you are taking. Our legal basis for processing your personal data is ‘legitimate interest’ This is listed as paragraph (f) in Article 6 of the Legislation: ‘processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller…’. Since our business consists of providing online tests and questionnaires, processing personal data is an integral part of the service we provide.
The further processing of this personal data for creation of norm groups is based on ‘scientific research’ and ‘statistical purposes’, as allowed for in Article 89 (1) of the Legislation. We will use pseudonymisation wherever possible and in any case after a maximum retention period for the personal data of 5 years.
Any identifying information you submit (e.g. your name and email address) will be stored with your test / questionnaire data for a maximum of 5 years. We will retain the data from the test or questionnaire you have taken for longer periods as we use such data for the purpose of research and improving our tests and questionnaires. However, the data that we retain will be entirely anonymous with all personally identifying information having been removed.
If you have any questions regarding your personal data, please contact us at support@profilingforsuccess.com
If you have been asked to take a test or questionnaire by another organisation (or by Team Focus acting on behalf of another organisation), then the conditions specified above will apply but the information you supply will be passed to the organisation that has asked you to take the assessment.
To give you an example, suppose that you have applied for a job for a company called ABC Ltd. When you have taken the tests and questionnaires they have asked you to take, one or more reports of your results will be sent to the person at ABC Ltd who is responsible for managing the company’s assessments on PfS or to another person in that company who needs to know your results. The reports will provide a summary of your performance on the test and will include your name and possibly other personal / biographical information you have submitted. ABC Ltd may also download your test data for importing into a spreadsheet or database. In both cases, the data passed to ABC Ltd would contain only the personal / biographical information and summary scores or your results and not the detailed responses you submitted to the test or questionnaire.
Although Team Focus and Profiling for Success undertake to store your data confidentially and to provide it to no additional third party, Team Focus is not in a position to make guarantees and can accept no responsibility in relation to how the data will be used or treated by the organisation which has asked you to take the tests or questionnaires. If you have concerns in this respect, we would advise you to take them up directly with the organisation in question.
Our assessment platform is securely hosted on Amazon Web Services and all data is processed and stored at their data centre in London. For AWS’s GDPR compliance statement and further information, please see here https://aws.amazon.com/compliance/gdpr-center/
